Key qualifications

Mr. Ibrahim Taouti, Bachelor and Master in Law, has been a lawyer for 28 years. He is registered at the Algerian Supreme Court and State Council and works also at the Danish Lawfirm Lawhouse.dk. He has also successively worked as general manager, and head of human resources and then of accounting and finances in a State company. Before this management experience he had worked as head of the litigation service in the legal department in a State bank; he had also taught banking techniques.

Ibrahim has collaborated with the legal department of Novo Nordisk in Denmark for eighteen months on the Equal Opportunities project. Ibrahim worked at Lawhouse.dk more than 4 years where he deals with human rights issues in the Arab and Muslim countries, and is particularly interested in the social responsibility of economic enterprises.
Since 1989 Ibrahim has been involved with various human rights pro bono activities with NGOs and has been writing on Business Law, on Human Rights, on international and Algerian internal penal laws, as well as on social and environmental responsibility of companies from an Islamic perspective. He w
