Our people Partners Ibrahim Taouti, Senior Partner Ibrahim Taouti, LL.M. has been a Business Attorney since 1979. Before that he has successively occupied several positions in State companies and banks as general manager, head of human resources, Director of accounting and finances, Head of litigation services and has taught banking techniques. Since 1988 he has been involved with various human rights activities, also from an Islamic vue, and writes on Business, Tax, Corporate Governance and Human Rights in Arabic and French. Bachelor in Law, Cherif is registered at the Algerian Supreme Court and State Council. And he has worked a long time in his owned Lawyer Office in a popular District in the Capital Algiers. Cherif has successively occuped directorial fonctions in large State's owned corporate as SONATRACH (in oil sector) and Caisse Algérienne d'Assurance et de Réassurance (in the Insurrance sector). He has also a shortexperiencein State administration. He has been involved in Human Rights and pro bono activities. He was member of Algiers Bar Association. She practiced as lawyer since she was sworn in 2005, which went mainly to the trade issues, civil, labor and insurance issues, and also on domestic violence issues. Subsequently, she taught as Professor in law at the Faculty of Economics and Commercial Sciences, University of Laghouat southern Algeria. Amira also has experience in the field of journalism. She obtained, prior to practicing law, a certificate of studies applied to the print and audio-visual journalism in 2005. He has worked with several research Centers and Institutes, was member of the Oxford University delegation to the Copenhagen climate change conference in 2009, and is the author of several studies on the water field in the Arab countries, especially in the Middle East. Sune is internationally acknowledged for his contribution to CSR/Human Rights & Business because of his practical experience in working, both, as a consultant  and an in-house advisor. He advises a range of the world’s leading corporations on the application of the UN Global Compact principles. For six years he was the expert advisor to the former Business Leaders Initiative on Human Rights and continues as expert advisor to the Global Business Initiative on Human Rights and as regional advisor for Europe to the Institute for Human Rights and Business. In addition he advises governments and multilateral organisations. Sune has written extensively on the subject.
