As a full-service law firm, Lawhouse.biz offers its domestic and international clients a wide range of legal services in complex as well as controversial matters. Our firm serves the interests of its clients, offering them an immediate access to high-level legal counsel and assistance based on extensive experience.

Thanks to our experience and activities in diverse professionql fields, you will not have to waste your valuable time educating us. We will be quickly and efficently working on your specific case. We are also aware that each company is unique in its kind, so we adapt our work accordingly, and provide a personalized and efficient first-class service.

Lawhouse provides services and solutions which are relevant and suited to the clients' concerns in the following ares:

Consulting and Assistance

We advise and assist our clients in the formalities in setting up a company, the cession and/or acquisitions of assets, in mergers, in the process of privatization and, generally, in negotiating and drafting contracts such as:

  • leases,

  • lease with purchase options,

  • loan agreements,

  • employment contracts,

  • transportation (air, sea and ground) contracts,

  • insurance contracts

  • financing agreements with banking institutions, including Islamic banks.

We assist our clients in the registration of their intellectual rights (trademarks; patents, designs and models, and copyrights), and act for their protection against unfair competition and/or counterfeiting, and the sale or purchase of licensing rights.

We assist our clients in selecting, implementing and developing the most efficient corporate structures, set-ups with domestic and international counterparts, to all areas of industrial and commercial matters.

For our clients to be successful, we asssit them in the understanding of specific social and cultural aspects to the areas in which they operate.

Litigation and ADR solutions

Moreover, we also provide services in litigation proceedings before all types of courts; including the Supreme Court and the State Council. These litigations may range from complex and multi-party disputes to debt collections, and in all kinds of business matters.

Our clients receive advice on the particularities of litigation in Algeria, the likely outcome of a lawsuit, the options for a settlement or some other out-of-court resolution of the dispute.

We do not just "litigate". We regularly try and arbitrate cases to conclusion.

Research, consultations, audit and learning

We can also undertake legal research and consultations for international organizations, such as the World Bank or the International Labour Organization as well as multinational corporations and governments.

We can also conduct seminars in our ares of expertise, calling upon the contribution of local and foreign consultants.

Corporate Social Responsibility

Lawhouse provides consultancy and training to firms and governments on Good Governance, Corporate Social Responsibility and Human Rights, and helps them to implement their CSR strategies for their particular business, and to build strategic frameworks, policies and practices to address the human rights issues they face, and to develop or enhance overarching CSR policies and set relevant CSR goals, priorities and key performance indicators.

Lawhouse provides guidance to companies as they develop, update and enhance their CSR policies in a manner tailored to the client's particular needs. And helps them to engage in constructive human rights-related stakeholder dialogue, with regard to the domestic law, culture and other specificities of the local region of their business. This process typically includes, with the country-specific issues, an analysis of the related risks and opportunities facing the client and its partners.
